Spring has sprung! It went from being 30-40 degrees every day to 70-80 degrees... gosh that was a shock to the system, but I LOVE it. Baby G loves to be outside and so do I. I love the SMELL to spring... it smells like vacation to me. This may be because I grew up in New Hampshire so most of the time it was never warm enough to get that smell, haha. When I lived in Texas it was like vacation ALL the time.

We pulled out a bunch of his toys that are outdoors-appropriate to make the outside even more fun. We've got a water table (Costco), wheelbarrow and garden tools (Costco), a baby pool, a Fisher-Price Bubble Mower , a Little Tikes EasyScore Basketball Set, some ride on toys, his Little Tikes Cozy Truck, and his Little Tikes Deluxe Ride and Relax Wagon with Umbrella. I had a big play date on Monday and then Tuesday one of my friends came over for a little bit in the morning. It's nice to just chill outdoors with the kiddos. I got a chance to water my vegetable gardens and the two lavender plants that I put in, Daddy B built a fence around my veggie garden (blog post soon to come!), and soon we'll be putting up Baby G's new swing set. Costco had the one we wanted marked down $200 until April 14th, I believe, and it's really cool. We rented a truck from Lowes (picking up a bunch of soil for the garden at the same time), then loaded up our swing set boxes at Costco; the guys there were great helping us out. Our roommate, Dan, helped Daddy B unload the boxes when we got home. Our in-laws are coming this weekend to help put it together and to visit Baby G (mostly to visit him because he's the super star, of course).

Now I bet you're wondering- of all those toys... what is Baby G's favorite toy of all time?  The water hose... we set it on the lightest spray for him- "mist" (this is actually on higher because we were filling the pool up); this kept him from using too much water but it also kept him from turning the water back on after we turned it off. He quickly figured out that if we turned the water all the way off via the faucet that he could turn it back on again. This kept him happy enough. He also enjoyed scooping a cup of water out of the water table and pouring in onto me while I was laying on the chair beside him, haha. That was a shocker!
