The Ultimate Strawberry Shortcake: Using white chocolate pudding!
A fabulous recipe to make with strawberries and some angel food cake. Melt in your mouth goodness.

I bought some angel food cake and two containers of strawberries the other day, got home, and realized I had absolutely no idea how to best make strawberry shortcake. My mom used to combine the two, add some whipped cream, and be done with it. But I figured there might be an even better recipe so I did a little searching. Most of the recipes required ingredients that I didn't have.

I ended up finding the recipe below and started to make it.

MizzNezz: The Ultimate Strawberry Shortcake

Then I realized, whoops, I didn't have enough whipped cream for the recipe... which called for 8 oz. Think Think Think. What's like whipped cream... can I make whipped cream from milk.... huh. Then I realized I had a box of white chocolate pudding. I was a bit nervous to try it, but gosh... substituting white chocolate pudding... it couldn't POSSIBLY go wrong! All amazing ingredients. About the same texture.

It went delightfully, delightfully right. It was moist, everything stuck together pretty nicely, and it tasted DELICIOUS. I really can't express. I can't compare to how it'd taste with whipped cream, but I would just go straight to the Jell-O next time. It took a bit of prep, but it was worth it. I think I might try to cut down on the amount of sugar I mixed with the strawberries next time because I felt like it wasn't necessary to use so much.
