We brought in our second convertible car seat from Daddy's car as we are trying to sell it privately and needed to get it cleaned up. G was playing with it today because he loves, loves, loves buckles. Probably a bad idea because I don't want him to figure out how to unbuckle it, but this isn't our main car seat (love our Diono Radian XRT) so I'm not too stressed.
As you can see G tried to put the car seat into his "car"... Ha. He was so mad it wouldn't fit.
Anyhow in the process of having it out, I realized that an expired convertible car seat (or one that cannot be used again due to being in a car accident) would be an excellent and comfortable toddler seat so we tried it out. Worked great! I think it could tip over in some circumstances if not supported so it might need extra support, but ours seems pretty stable.
I don't think we are quite ready to use this one as it's not expired and hasn't been in an accident, but I wanted to share because I know people often wonder what to do with these. It looks super comfy though huh?
